Helping Tomorrow’s Workforce Develop the Skills They Need
Today
The Oregon Youth Conservation Corps (http://www.oregon.gov/CCWD/youth.shtml) helps young adults learn valuable skills while working to protect conserve, rehabilitate and improve Oregon’s natural, historical and cultural resources.
Youth Corps Activities Include:
- Constructing hiking trails, boat docks, disability ramps and picnic tables.
- Restoration/Preservation of wetlands, stream banks, wildlife habitats, and cultural/historical sites.
- Landscaping, water quality testing, surveying and community service projects.
